Jill and James' Epic Adventure: intimate wedding at the Black Castle
Get ready for an exhilarating journey as we delve into the story of Jill and James' intimate wedding at the breathtaking Black Castle in Wicklow. With love, laughter, and a sprinkle of Yvonne Cassidy magic, this wedding tale is sure to captivate your heart!
In the scorching heat of September 2023, they traveled from Canada to Ireland, accompanied by their families from Canada and Australia, for a memorable adventure at the Black Castle. They began the day with a registry at the venue before exchanging vows at the majestic Black Castle. Their ceremony was filled with emotion and wisdom from both families, and they concluded the day with one of Yvonne's favorite rituals – the Mead ceremony. Despite the hot weather, they celebrated atop the cliff with a trusty flask and shot glasses. After their registry, we took a quick pop into a Wicklow Inspired cafe for a photo op, a spot they had visited the day before for lunch and coffee.
With Yvonne Cassidy at the helm as their celebrant, their ceremony was nothing short of magical. Against the backdrop of the Black Castle, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Jill and James exchanged vows that will stand the test of time.
So here's to Jill and James – the ultimate adventure seekers, partners in crime, and now, officially, husband and wife. May your lives be filled with endless love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Cheers to the newlyweds! And after the ceremony, they continued the festivities with one of Jill's favorite rituals – the Mead ceremony, overlooking the breathtaking cliffs. What a celebration it was!
Jill + James' Review
We randomly found Johnny through the help of a google search and cannot begin to express how lucky we are we did! He was amazing to work with,
captured everything while somehow being almost invisible! All of our guests were impressed with him and
we can’t thank him enough for the spectacular pictures he took capturing our special day. Truly cannot recommend him enough!
Thanks again Johnny!
