Really enjoyed shooting around those fab Blairscove House

When Nóríde and Ravi first got in touch with me about their Blairscove House wedding in Cork, I was so thrilled – they were planning the most relaxed wedding with a live band. Nóríde and Ravi seemed like the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I began the morning at The River Lee Hotel, where the bride was getting ready, and it was really exciting because I had so much fun with them two at the Pre-Wedding in Dublin. Nóríde wore Charlie Brear dress, and she looked so incredible.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place in the Honan Chapel, UCC in Cork. The ceremony area was really cosy, which was so gorgeous because it was such a gorgeous day. The ceremony began with a beautiful reading and finished with a dramatic first kiss. It was a wonderful ceremony, full of so much love and lots of laughter.

After the ceremony, we went down to the fields for the portrait photos, which was really chilled out. Then we went for couples portraits, which was so much fun. I got some beautiful couples photos in the field. The weather was fresh and sunny, which I loved.

The reception

The wedding reception took place at Blairscove House, which is a Georgian House. It was wonderful.

It was a bright and sunny day, which was perfect. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our couples session is the one out in the field right beside the venue.

Choosing Johnny as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding.
