Love Story in Glendalough: Liisa & Alex's Adventure Photoshoot in Wicklow

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a lovely couple, Liisa from Estonia and Alex who is Danish/Italian, during their visit to Ireland. Liisa and Alex were planning to officially register their marriage in a city hall, but they also wanted to capture some beautiful photos of themselves to cherish and remember this special time in their lives.

I couldn't agree more - with Ireland's stunning landscapes, I knew we had to choose the perfect spot for their adventure photoshoot. So, I took them to the breathtaking Wicklow Mountains, specifically to the picturesque valley nestled in the heart of the mountains - Glendalough.

On June 27th, my 13-year-old son, Aaron, and I met up with Liisa and Alex near the Miners Way in Glendalough. The weather was ideal, with the sun shining and a slight breeze in the air. We were thrilled to capture this couple's adventurous spirit and the beauty of the Wicklow Mountains. Liisa and Alex were naturals in front of the camera, and their love for each other was evident in every shot.

We captured some amazing shots of them walking hand in hand along the Miners Way, with the stunning mountains and lush greenery in the background. We explored the area around the Upper Lake and took some breathtaking photos of the couple against the dramatic landscape. Liisa and Alex were up for anything, and we even captured some amazing shots of them standing on a rock with the amazing view in the background.

Aaron was with us and he really loved being a part of the photoshoot - in fact, he has some great shots of his own that we'll be sharing on our Instagram and Facebook accounts soon! We had a great time with Liisa and Alex, and as an elopement adventure photographer in Ireland, I was thrilled to have been a part of their adventure and to have captured their love story in such a beautiful location.

I wish them all the best in their marriage and future adventures together. If you're looking for an adventure photographer anywhere in Ireland, I'd love to work with you and capture your special day in a unique and meaningful way. Contact me today to book your adventure photoshoot in Ireland!
